<Tech_Fluent> Terms and Conditions

By purchasing, receiving, or using a ticket to <Tech_Fluent> (the "Conference"), you ("Attendee") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Ticket License and Use

Each Conference ticket grants the Attendee a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to attend the Conference. Tickets may not be transferred, resold, sublicensed, or used for promotional or commercial purposes without the express prior written consent of the Conference organizer, Varia Law (the "Organizer").

The Organizer reserves the right to deny admission or remove any Attendee who violates these Terms and Conditions, without refund.

Tickets have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or credit. Admission is subject to capacity limits, security procedures, and compliance with all applicable laws and venue rules.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-cancelable beginning thirty (30) days prior to the Conference start date. Prior to that date, refunds may be issued at the Organizer's discretion and may be subject to administrative fees. No refunds will be issued for failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, or removal due to violation of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Digital Resource Pack – Limited Use and No License

Attendees may receive access to a digital resource pack, which may include files, documents, software, presentations, recordings, links, discount codes, and other materials ("Materials").

The Materials are provided solely for the personal, non-commercial use of the Attendee. The Attendee may not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, publish, display, modify, create derivative works from, sublicense, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit the Materials, in whole or in part, for any purpose without the prior written consent of the applicable copyright holder.

All intellectual property rights in the Materials are retained by the applicable author(s) or rights holder(s). No ownership rights or licenses are granted except as expressly stated herein. The Organizer makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, safety, or usefulness of the Materials and does not guarantee that any specifically advertised Materials will be provided.

3. Intellectual Property and Recording

All Conference content, including presentations, slides, audiovisual materials, branding, trademarks, and written content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized recording, photography, livestreaming, or distribution of Conference content is prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing by the Organizer. By attending the Conference, the Attendee grants the Organizer a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to photograph, record, and otherwise capture the Attendee's likeness, voice, and participation at the Conference, and to use such recordings for marketing, promotional, educational, archival, or commercial purposes without compensation or further approval.

4. Assumption of Risk

The Attendee understands and acknowledges that attendance at an in-person event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property loss, or damage. The Attendee knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with attending the Conference, including risks arising from travel, crowds, venue conditions, interactions with other attendees, illness, or acts or omissions of third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Attendee hereby releases the Organizer from any claims arising from such risks.

5. Food, Beverage, and Health Disclaimer

Food and beverages may be provided at the Conference. While reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions, the Organizer makes no guarantees regarding allergens or ingredient composition.

The Attendee is solely responsible for determining whether any food or beverage is safe for their consumption and assumes all risks associated with food and beverage consumption at the Conference.

The Attendee agrees to comply with all applicable health, safety, and security requirements imposed by the Organizer, the venue, or governmental authorities. The Organizer reserves the right to deny entry or remove any Attendee who fails to comply, without refund. The Attendee acknowledges that the Organizer does not guarantee a disease-free environment.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, speakers, sponsors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages nor any loss, injury, damage, delay, or expense arising out of or related to the Conference, the Materials, the Attendee's participation, or acts or omissions of speakers, sponsors, vendors, venue operators, or other attendees, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall the aggregate liability of the Organizer exceed the amount paid by the Attendee for the Conference ticket.

7. Indemnification

The Attendee agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizer and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, speakers, sponsors, and agents from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

The Organizer reserves the right to establish and enforce standards of conduct. The Organizer shall have sole discretion in determining whether conduct violates applicable standards. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or infringement of intellectual property rights may result in immediate removal from the Conference without refund.

9. Modifications and Severability

The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Conference program, speakers, schedule, venue, or format at any time without liability. The Organizer shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, or modification due to events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, government orders, labor disputes, pandemics, natural disasters, or venue unavailability.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Conference and supersede all prior communications.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to the Conference shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Washington, DC.
